Virtual Winter Solstice Cacao Circle // December Community Circle

Join us on the darkest day of the year, the Winter Solstice, to celebrate the cycle of death + rebirth, the shadow + the light, the day + the night, that makes this beautiful journey called life so beautiful. Together, we will honor + explore the gentle, heart opening plant medicine known as Cacao that has been passed on via the Mayan + Aztec lineages who were first in relationship with it. Then, we will drop into a meditation, solstice ritual, and sharing circle from a place of reverence & connection. This is a BYOCacao circle, so if you are not comfortable with working with cacao, or have a deeper relationship with another plant ally (tea, adaptogens, etc), please feel free to still join & receive all of the benefit of community in your own way.

Because we feel called to make our community experiences & especially Grandmother Cacao accessible to ALL, this is a donation-based love offering, suggested $11-55. The donation can be made via Eventbrite (link below) when getting your ticket, or via Venmo to @TheHarmonyMountainHouse at anytime. A portion of all proceeds is tithed to the indigenous communities that have taught and shared this medicine of Cacao with us, and the cacao shared in ceremony comes from small communities who are supported through these circles. Like noted down below, the rest of the proceeds will go directly to the Ayni Fund, and we will share the amount donated!

As these ceremonies are virtual, you will need to purchase + prepare your own cacao. There are many companies who offer cacao from indigenous sources (our recommendation, always) including Soul Lift Cacao, and Ora Chocolate (use code yogawithelyza for 5% off your order). Depending on where you are in the world, there are options unique to you.

Zoom link + more details on what you will need to prepare for this ceremony will be sent in an email 12-24 hours prior to ceremony, but make sure you order your cacao ASAP if you don't already have it! If you aren't familiar with preparing your own ceremonial cacao, I offer a guide to help you cultivate your own connection with cacao; please take this into account with your donation if you request one.

Register here!

Note: This virtual circle is accepting donations for The Harmony Mountain House Ayni Fund, which makes attending events (like this!) and in-person retreats accessible to all humans, regardless of their financial capacity. All proceeds from this Community Gathering will be donated directly to the cause, which you can find more details about via our website. If you are in need of a gifted ticket from the Ayni Fund, please reach out at any time + we will gratefully offer you a spot, no questions asked.
