A full-length yoga class to honor the end of the harvest season and a bringing in of Samhain, the Celtic New Year, which is celebrated on October 31st!
Bask in the fall season, build strength & resilience in a way that is mindful, curious, thoughtful & aligned. The first half of class will have more of a yang energy – moving with grace and power as we flow through a creative sequence to facilitate an energetic awakening of the body. The second half of class will tune into more of a yin style flow, with longer holds in more passive stretches with props to support you as you melt into the realization that you already contain all of the love that you seek.
Samhain specifically is a time to honor loved ones and ancestors who have passed on, as the veil between worlds is thinnest this time of year (hello, spooky season)!
Brit created this class to be a way to connect deeper with those who may no longer be here with us *physically* through movement and breath, knowing that love is truly the glue that binds us together. She has learned this a million times over with the passing of her own mother a few years ago, and she can easily say it’s so freeing to know that something as simple as a movement practice has the capacity to bring her closer to her mother, and closer to her ancestors who came before her.
